This was a very informative case study that was used in CYB 402 Digital Forensics. All of the names and companies are fictitious. This case study gives students a chance to work with netstat, bulk extractor, Xplico, and Wireshark to determine if and any breaches occurred on a fictitious company server. A Windows PowerShell command line that I modified for the purpose of running a Windows Defender scan at a specific time. The scan is triggered by the time and is ran daily. Both PowerShell and Terminal for Linux have the ability to create autonomous actions that are a benefit to anyone in IT.
